I remember when my wife would say look Brother Ravenel.
I remember when Brother Ravenel last gave me a big hug and we told each other we love one another. Such a kind spirit. He will be missed but not for long!
I remember when Brother Ravenel use to make sure me and my family was alright.
I remember when Brother Ravenel would welcome the friends and visitors at the door at North into the congregation.
I remember when brother Ravenel would come over and if Our brother Johnnie wasn't able to come he was in a picture as the brother. My Mom would get a kick out of that. But he was one of the family. I will miss him and his voice when we couldn't visit. Times will always be there.
I remembered Brother Ravenel Strong Prayers and Love and Humility he always had. May Jehovah God's Kingdom Come it won't be long his purpose will be fufiled.
I remember when Brother Ravenel was with the elders that sat in on my conference when l because an unbaptized publisher. During the meeting, the brothers wanted to know my knowledge and Maine point of the Bible. Brother Ravenel helped me relax and l really felt calm thanks to the help of my brother with the words he said to me.❤ He said it's okay if you are nervous, we all love you, just try to relax. He also prayed to Jehovah before and after our discussion. His prayers always be so calm and relaxing.
I remember when Charles gave us words of encouragement with that beautiful smile of his.
I remember Bro Ravenel's kindness , his smile, and the love he displayed to his family and extended family.
I remember when Charles always had a warm, friendly smile on his face. Even if he wasn't feeling well, he would greet the friends with a smile and kind words. His love for his wife and family was always evident! Even when his children were grown, he would continue to talk about them often, so we knew their names. But most of all, he loved Jehovah and Jesus Christ. That's really what kept him strong through all of his battles with illness! We look forward to welcoming Bro. I remember when Bro Ravenel always called dad "Winston."
I remember when Charles & Lola welcomed me in their lovely home when I was a young brother in need of somewhere to visit. My sisters art work always encouraged me and lifted my spirit. Abd Charles was always with her. What wonderful powers of example they are always for me & my Queen ( wife).
Of course as Charles's wife l have a host of memories, because short of a month we were married for 60 years.
My fondest memory is serving along side him as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for a total of 111 years.
We enjoyed so many blessings together. We talked about them, laughed about them and even shared them with others.
During his many years of sickness we always talked about being together in Paradise when sickness and death will be no more.
I remember his devotion to his family, his strength, and most of all his unyielding love and beautiful example of faithfulness he showed his family because of his service to his very Best Friend Jehovah God, it was contagious.❤❤
I remember when Charles first had his aneurism and the firm stance he took against taking blood.
